 National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) - August 5-11, 2012 | National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an exciting, action-packed program designed for councils to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home troops. The course is conducted by a youth staff who have taken NYLT in the past and who have been trained to run the course by a team of adult staff members. They will model how a troop/crew should be run and they will teach the participants a variety of leadership skills to take back to their home troops. Youth Participation Requirements - Each participant must be a registered Boy Scout or Venturer
- Must be 13 years of age or older
- First Class rank or above (for Boy Scouts)
- Must be currently filling a youth leadership position in Boy Scout Troop or Venturing Crew
- Must be nominated by Scoutmaster or Venturing Crew Advisor
